Hand Held Shower head in tub?

 We are a movement with roommates in our house for a few weeks. The bathroom has a bath before, but no shower. The faucet is a faucet bath tub General. Is it possible to simply take a shower to prevent the handheld connect to facucet bathtub?

crazy Plumbing Question. Is it possible to have a hand held shower head hooked to a roman faucet?

 I have a roman/ garden tub and no shower. I yearning to use a hand held on the wall to act as the shower but am running into disturbance with the different threads for the connectors, any ideas?

 You may have to refund the faucet.... getting one to peer the style though, should not be a problem. I be informed there are roman faucets with an additional shower attatchment, or in the scullery, a sprayer.
