Is a whirlpool washer/dryer the same product as a Kitchenaid washer/Dryer?

 what is considered a predictable washer / dryer? I was lucky notable KitchenAid, KitchenAid has been bought by Whirlpool. Some of my friends told me that. Is it true?

 I'm not sure if they are the same product, model for model, but yes, Whirlpool bought Kitchenaid cable.

At one point Kitchenaid was owned by Hobart, but no more.
