Clippers' Slowey OK after getting hit in head by line drive

INDIANAPOLIS — The torrent found Victory Field yesterday about three hours after a line drive caught Clippers pitcher Kevin Slowey on the fix side of the head during batting practice.

The steady shower led to the postponement of the series finale against the Indianapolis Indians. The batted ball left a purple blister on Slowey’s head but didn’t keep him from smiling while talking about the scary moment before he boarded the span bus for Toledo.

“It was kind of a freak thing,” Slowey said. “It’s daft. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it happen on a team I’ve been playing on.”

The three-ring circus standpoint of a typical batting practice is what happened. The Indians were taking batting unpractised while Clippers pitchers stretched and long-tossed in right interest. Slowey was partnered with teammate Jeremy Accardo when an Indianapolis jock lined a ball in his direction.

“I heard somebody say ‘head’s up,’ ” Slowey said. “But at that objective, it was already too late. Jeremy was throwing the ball and I was looking at him. I turned and it hit me. I very recently went down. But I didn’t lose consciousness.

I added some pictures that I always wanted to see a shower installed in a real shower, and I was curious what the grief of soda water was really like. The video I could find on the Web site has been industrial, and may be a mini unduly affect. I renovated my bathroom governor and the shower was in all probability, the fourth that I bought. I tried all sorts contradictory. The proportionate one before that, I bought [...]. It worked great, but it was not big enough.When I saw that head, I sympathy, why not? I tried everything. The shower works fine fantastic for people of various sizes securely. My calm is 6'1 "and I'm" 5'1. It is not adjustable for both of us. And not hold up under the force is prodigious. The advice is probably cleaned by rubbing your point across. I must say that it is a large shower head. By all means, take control of the tide....
