 I'm sure I have Bonny. I broke my toe, went for a nap, got up to pee, as I sat on the facility, I think I'm really light headed, fell and hit my head on the bathtub iron and left.

Cast iron tub stolen from near east Madison yard

An old troupe iron bathtub that was used as a home for pond fish, plants and a well has been stolen from a neighborhood on Madison's near east side, according to the Madison The long arm of the law Department. 

Officers said the tub was taken from the home on the 100 hunk of North Baldwin Street on March 25.

The homeowner told police officers that the tub was mostly sunken into the ground

"I use it in the summer for my pond fish and water plants and a piddling fountain," the owner explained in her report to police. "It looked appealing by the way." 

While she had not fixed it up for the coming season yet, the tub was full of water from winter's decrease.

The woman said there were no drag marks, and she believes it would have taken a yoke of people to hoist the hefty tub.

The MPD has been dealing with thieves who have been stealing items from construction sites, as well as people's properties, and selling the items for iota.
